Spiders are cool, people are wusses.
I love spiders. I don’t understand the problem people have with them. Maybe they’re not cute in the classical sense—they’re not nice and plump, with big eyes, like a Pokemon, but they have a certain charm to them. Plus they eat the various bugs and other undesirable pests that plague the common American household, while leaving pretty much anything a human would want alone. The only thing about them that annoys me, really, is the webs. That shit is hard to get out of your hair, especially because you can’t see it. I think people are sort of conditioned from childhood to hate spiders for some reason, maybe for the same reason that they hate insects, but spiders are so very different! They just hang out in corners or whatever, chillin’ and waiting for whatever hapless creature comes their way, like a living pest control device. Spiders are finely-tuned products of evolution, silent and deadly, and as long as they don’t make a habit of biting me they’re all right in my book.
Yeah, I’m a wuss…especially looking at this spider. scary. as. hell.
